I’m excited to open a home preschool! Prior to having my children I taught elementary school in Greensboro, Falls Church, VA, and Chapel Hill. Recently, I’ve worked as a teaching assistant and substitute teacher. When my children were young, I organized a co-op preschool; they are now all teenagers.
My philosophy is to create a child-centered space that allows children to grow socially, cognitively, emotionally, and academically. This may be your child’s first step away from home. I hope to help them navigate the world through meaningful play, developing problem-solving skills, language, curiosity, and confidence.
